DANCE LOCAL COLLABORATES WITH TWO OF GLOSSOP'S FAVOURITE VENUES TO CREATE A NIGHT OUT TO REMEMBER

January 26, 2023

Dance Local - the suburban dance night which is heading to Glossop for the first time - is joining forces with Cask & Kitchen and Square West which are putting on pre-drinks and food for revellers on Saturday 9th April.

The venues are planning carefully curated food and drink menus.

Cask & Kitchen is creating a special limited edition burger; the PLUR Burger includes a beef or vegan patty, smoked cheese, bacon, onions rings and a secret Kandi sauce all in a toasted brioche bun. All food and drinks will be available at the Square West venue. Party goers can head to

Square West from 7pm where they can get themselves rave-ready with the burger and a special drinks menu including incredible shooters and cocktails such as the Raving Monster - a heady mix of Midori, lemon, soda and Mountain Dew.

MC Kwasi will be on the mic from 8pm helping the vibes along until 9pm, when the doors open at the Crystal Ballroom for the big dance event.

DANCE LOCAL - the brainchild of local mum Carlie Ashctoft - will feature DJ Lil'Fee & Julie Wills, and will be hosted by MC Kwasi and DJ Lil' Fee (The Whip, Flex Moovin Festival) - who has enjoyed an international music career as the drummer in slick, dance-rock outfit, The Whip. Lil' Fee's DJ sets are finely crafted and full of sonic energy.

Carlie said: "Glossop can expect a unique and upbeat vibe of Soulful House, Funk, Disco, Boogie plus a few surprises when MC Kwasi gets on the mic. No barriers, no restrictions - just proper good times. And now, anyone with a ticket can enjoy pre-drinks and limited edition burgers at two amazing independent local venues.

"All the music and fun - and no expensive taxi home required! See you there!"
