Glossop street artist and rock musician Deggy has been making creative waves recently, as his celeb portraits have attracted the attention of some well known faces.

Deggy's spray paint portrait of comedian and activist Russell Brand was sent to the man himself, who liked it so much he took his picture with the artwork.

Meanwhile, Deggy's music career is going from strength to strength with his band Gorilla Riot opening for 90s British legends Reef at The Ritz in Manchester.

Deggy says: "Our next run of shows is a sold-out tour with Australian rockers Airbourne who are over here playing all the big European festivals including Download, Hellfest and Sweden Rock to name a few. We have also been recording the new Gorilla Riot album which should hopefully be out at the back end of this year."
