After a successful creative network meeting back in September 2021, Glossop Creates has announced the date and venue for the Spring 2022 meeting - which, for the first time, will bring together the creative, food and music networks in one room.
The meeting will provide a platform for the Glossop Creates team and friends to update the community about the latest news and views from all aspects of the town's independent and creative community, and provide a space for people and businesses to talk, collaborate and share ideas.
Steven Dexter, community producer for Glossop Creates and co-founder of new venture LOCAL, comments: "The May meeting will give people and groups the chance to connect with each other to ensure that events, activities and more are cohesive, well rounded and utilise the talents of the town first and foremost. If you need a new website, a mural or shop sign redesign, a caterer for an event, a speaker or entertainment for a launch, the talent is here."
"The evening will include updates from Glossop Creates on recent activity including our nomination at the Mainframe Awards, our WAN.DER walks, plus our plans for this year and beyond. Myself and Claire Tymon - founder of Glossop Creates - would also like to tell the community about our new arts organisation, LOCAL, and how our practices and projects will benefit the creative community in Glossop and its surrounding villages.

The network meeting will take place on 26th May, 7pm at The Oakwood. Food and drink will be available to purchase from The Oakwood.
