We were excited to see that the Arts Derbyshire website has a fab new look! The valuable resource brings together artists, creatives, venues and events throughout the county to profile the talent and bring them together as a community.
Arts Derbyshire incorporated as a charity during 2019 to safeguard a valuable resource for the local community. The website is a central place for members of the public to find out what’s going on in the arts scene in Derbyshire. It is also a valuable resource for people and small businesses working in the arts sector in the county, offering free marketing support to help them promote their work, their events and their services.
The site has been given a fresh new look, with lots of features that allow artists, arts organisations and venues in Derbyshire to create free listings to advertise what they do - in the same way as Glossop Creates - with lots of opportunities to link back to their own websites and social channels to allow people to find out more.
How can Glossop creatives sign up?
Although we sit very much between Derbyshire and Greater Manchester, being part of Arts Derbyshire is a valuable way of promoting services to a large community and a wide base of people. If you’d like to register with Arts Derbyshire for a free directory listing, then click here to apply. When you have submitted your application, the website editor will review and approve it. Once approved, you will be able to sign into your profile and set up your directory listing.
I have an arts event; how do I get it onto the website?
If you would like to add your arts event to the What's On directory listings, you will need to sign up for a profile by clicking here to register for a profile. Once your application is approved you can add your event to the website.
What sorts of organisations can join?
Arts Derbyshire welcomes all forms of arts and creative industry organisations to join the community, voluntary, not for profit and commercial. They welcome artists, arts organisations and creative businesses that are based in Derbyshire or carry out a significant proportion of their work in the county.
