Get your glow sticks ready, Glossop! After the success of its  launch party in April, The Dance Project returns to the Crystal Ballroom on 30th July.
Carlie Ashcroft from the Playhouse Project, which founded the event said: "We are delighted to welcome House music legend and DJ & Producer, Jon DaSilva. Think Madchester era Hacienda mixed with some old and new skool dance, expect Hacienda Classics & Detroit House music all night long."
Jon DaSilva is one of the original Hacienda resident DJs and a true pioneer in the UK House Music scene. His career has spanned over three decades beginning in what many consider to be the most important and influential club of its generation, Fac 51 The Hacienda. Few of today's DJs can boast a pedigree like Jon Dasilva, who was also recently voted #25 in Iconic Magazine reader's poll of All Time Top 50 DJs.
Carlie continues: "Jon DaSilva will be joined by DJ & Producer B-Long (Saytek Live, Jamie Jones); a well known selector on London's underground scene. He will be making his debut in the North, to coincide with the release of his latest remix of Jimi Polo's Better Days (Freakin909) record label. The evening will also feature the Cequin Circus Disco Head Queens."
Sponsored by Finders Spirits, all online tickets include a FREE complimentary gin or rum drink on arrival from Finders.
