The now legendary Dance Project returns to the Crystal Ballroom with iconic DJ, Dave Haslam (Hacienda) and Moodymanc on 17th December - for the last rave of 2022.   Well known DJ and writer Dave Haslam appeared over 450 times at the legendary Hacienda in Manchester during the late 1980s, making his debut at the Hacienda on May 1st 1986. He has since DJ's all over the world. Tim Burgess, Laurent Garnier, and the Chemical Brothers have all later credited his sets as an inspiration. He featured on the line-up of Stone Roses gigs at Blackpool and Spike Island, and elsewhere, and has played after parties for Depeche Mode, Gorillaz, and New Order.

Danny Ward - aka Moodymanc - is a record producer, musician and DJ. He's been producing records since the mid nineties under the name 'Dubble D'. In the 90s and early noughties he collaborated and appeared on records with such luminaries as Fila Brazilia, The Pharcyde, Rae & Christian, Nightmares on Wax, Awesome 3 and a host of others.  

Expect Funk, Disco, Soul, House and Electronica from Dave and Danny at the Dance Project, which is set to be a roaring success after the incredible events this year with James Holroyd, Veba, MC Kwasi and MVITA.

Carlie Ashcroft, Glossop mum and founder of the Dance Project and Playhouse Project family music events, said: "When I launched the Dance Project I was unsure as to whether or not it would be a success, I quickly realised that there is a definite need for events such as this in the local area. I have been overwhelmed by the support and we have gained a fair few regulars. It has been a lot more fun bringing high profile DJs to Glossop and the reaction from attendees has been priceless.
