The juice bar also serves a range of hot and cold food, as well as stocking vegan beauty care products.
It wouldn’t be a true day of vegan eating and drinking if you didn’t settle in at “the world’s finest vegan pub” for tea! The Globe is known far and wide for its fully vegan menu, home-brewed beers and music gigs. Since taking over the pub in 2002, the proprietors have been serving up a wholesome, plant-based menu from day one. The Globe also has their very own in-house brewery where they produce a great selection of traditional real ales & vegan beers for you to try.
For a relaxing lunch in Old Glossop, look no further than a riverside seat at Shepley’s. Shepley’s is a unique cafe serving high quality vegetarian food, snacks, coffee, loose leaf teas and cakes. Over in Tintwistle, the family-run Pixie Bakes offers a wide range of vegan-friendly, plant-based cakes and treats, as well as gluten free options.
Last but not least, it would be remiss of us to not mention Ayubowan’s Vegan Buffet night on the last Sunday of each month, serving up a three-course meal from your choice of incredible vegan choices. Glossop Wholefoods stocks a wide range of products, from whole foods and drinks, vegan goodies, health and wellbeing products and everyday essentials such as home and cleaning materials and natural personal care. The store, prettily situated on picturesque Norfolk Square, also stocks an abundance of zero and low waste items, with an ever -expanding zero waste dispenser system for dried foods, fruits and cereals.
Based on the corner of Railway Street, Glossop, All in the Buff sells hand-made artisan soaps, made using vegetable derived soap bases, free from sodium lauryl sulphate. They are made from paraben-free bases that are rich in vitamins and minerals and most are suitable for vegans.
