The Wander Walk programme, commissioned by Glossop Creates, features curated walks that are headed up by local artists and creatives, who invite participants to see Glossopdale through their eyes and explore, learn and connect with their surroundings. The walks combine local heritage, history, curiosity and creativity and produce truly unique experiences.
Wander Walks are hosted monthly, usually taking place on a Sunday morning, with space for 20 participants to join us as we meander down the high street, or across the hillside, with a knowledgeable, local guide.
Each Wander Walk will soon be translated into a downloadable zine, free to access from the Glossop Creates website, to allow the Wanders to live on beyond the event. So, if you can’t make a live Wander Walk, you’ll soon be able to download a step-by-step guide to complete the walk at your leisure.
Information and tickets for upcoming Wander Walks can be found on the Glossop Creates Eventbrite.
