We are very excited to announce the first GlossopBookFest! 12th November 1pm - 6pm Glossop Methodist Church Glossop, ‘Gateway to the Peak District’, is home to many artistic events, groups and people – the Glossop Music Festival, Glossopera, the Partington Theatre Company – and an ideal place for this venture. Meet Authors, Poets and Illustrators Chat with, check out the work of a dozen or more local authors, poets and illustrators, of different styles and genres. Buy signed copies of books, often at a discount. ​Promote your work Bring cards, leaflets etc. if you want to promote your work. Join in Workshops and Activities Learn new skills through fun activities and workshops for both children and adults. ​Make connections and build networks Information and support for authors, poets, writers and illustrators. Publishers, librarians and local bookshop owners will be with us during the afternoon. Discover groups and events Get information about local writing groups and spoken word events.
