Tintwistle Band

Musicians & live acts

Tintwistle Band is an award winning, self funding brass band based in the village of their name. Their bandroom is on Old Road, Tintwistle. The band rehearse twice weekly under the baton of their musical director Andrew Mallon. The band featured in a National Lottery advert in 2019, have played on Songs of Praise and provided the background music to the No 1 hit Matchstalk Men & Matchstalk Cats and Dogs. The band perform concerts throughout the region.
