Glossop Music Festival Christmas Concert will take place on Saturday 2 December at 7pm at St James' Church on Hollincross Lane and features the established duo of harpist Lauren Scott and flautist Conrad Marshall in a programme including extracts from Bizet's Carmen Suite, Bach's Sonata in G minor and the second movement of Mozart's Andante together with some festive favourites. The full programme includes: Gossec Tambourin Bizet Carmen extracts Fauré Sicilienne Bach Sonata in G minor Mozart Andante for flute and harp Daniel Whibley Casadh Ibert Entraact plus some festive favourites! This will be an un-ticketed event with audience members asked to donate as generously as possible, according to their means, to reflect what they felt the concert was worth. Doors and the bar will open at 6.30pm, with unreserved seating available on a first come, first served basis.
