Glossop’s Crystal Ballroom will be taken over by daytime ravers in October with a one-off event by party starters, Manchester's Sticky Heat Collective and local platform, The Dance Project. The collective will be taking over the venue on 5th October, 3pm - 8pm, with an unforgettable event for house music lovers.
Sticky Heat is made up of DJ Muddy Feet, Chris Massey and Marco Giannini. For the last five years they've been throwing parties in Manchester and beyond. To date they have collaborated with the likes of Lindstrom, Prins Thomas, Cinthie, Roman Flugel, Optimo, The Glimmers, Alinka, Sean Johnson, Fujiya & Miyagi, Rex the Dog through their doors at The Yard.
Muddy Feet is a Manchester based DJ, producer and resident of Sticky Heat. Muddy Feet loves to showcase different sides of the music spectrum ranging from Disco to Electronic/ melodic House.
Chris Massey is an integral stalwart of Manchester’s underground electronic music scene, where he juggles multiple roles. From producer, engineer, remixer, promoter, booker, programmer and radio host. Massey runs his own record label Sprechen, as well as being a resident at Manchester’s Sticky Heat.
Marco Giannini ia a veteran of Manchester nightlife and resident DJ at Sticky Heat. Marco has held down residencies at institutions including Tribal Sessions, The Warehouse Project, and Girls On Film.
The event will be brought to the venue by The Dance Project, a platform spearheaded by Glossop mum, Carlie Ashcroft. The project has brought many world-renowned DJ’s and performers to Glossop’s Crystal Ballroom since 2022.
